Just went to pick up my local co-op basket of fruits and vegetables for the week. This week it included a ton of ginger root. My first inclination was to just give it away to someone who knew what to do with it.
I have no idea what I'll do with it yet, but I've decided to keep it and attempt a recipe or two. A perfect chance to learn how to cook with a food I am unfamiliar with. How do you use ginger root?
