Whether you buy it store bought, or bake your own, bread is something we can't live without. It doesn't last for long on the counter before getting stale, so I like to split my loaves into 3 sections and bag it. One I keep on the counter in the original bag, the other two are put in the freezer for later.
It's a great way to be able to use the whole loaf without having to throw so much away. Bread is now almost 4 dollars a bag and I want to make every last penny stretch from each bag.
