This idea for candle storage was passed on to me through my sister. You might have no electricity for one hour, one day, or one week, and be glad to have this on-hand. Here's what you do to prepare it.-get a Mason jar
-fill it with small votive candles and a box of matches
-in the top of the jar (lid) glue a "cap," such as a small sprinkler part
-when the lid is opened, one of the candles can be stood in the cap and burned
Always be safe when using candles, never leave unattended.
